Wishing a Happy #espanYOLO 26th Birthday to Rapper Drake

Aubrey Drake Graham turns 26 today. Because he's the impressive young man (and fellow enigmatic Scorpio) that he is, I decided it's time to shout out the person without whom my favorite expression, #espanYOLO, wouldn't exist.

So here it goes:

Querido Drake,

When you sang "them Spanish girls love me like I'm Aventura" on "The Motto," you were right – even if you meant to say Latinas, since, as far as I know, girls in Spain don't love bachata more than girls in the Bronx do.

I just think it's cool that you know who Aventura is, period.

Earlier this month, you made me giggle when you went on your Facebook page and wrote this, proving that know the difference between the 'ja' in Spanish and 'ha' in English. A true #espanYOLO moment if I ever saw one:

Such a charmer, you. Who else could come up with OVO (October's Very Own) and turn it into a powerful, multi-tiered brand?

You've been celebrating your birthday in several different cities for days now (in Atlanta, in DC). As you should. When you're young, rich, and famous, that's what you do. Even if T Boone Pickens stunted on you heavy by reminding you that it's not the first million that's the hardest," but that, indeed, "the first billion is a helluva lot harder."

But hey, in a few years, there's no telling where you'll end up. Maybe we'll be sipping your own champagne on a boat docked in the South of France. We can call it #YOLOtomo.

Anyway, Drizzy, here's some advice, from someone who cares: stay away from broke (financially and emotionally) girls. They will be the end of you. Find yourself a nice one, with her own career. Rita Ora and you would look super cute together. Just sayin'. Plus, she's like a mix of Rihanna and Beyonce so you'd officially surpass Jay-Z in coolness when he sang, "I got the hottest chick in the game, wearing my chain."

Looking forward to that Aaliyah album.

P.S. Congrats on getting your high school degree! It's never too late.
