    Christie's is holding a series of "Pop Culture" auctions selling iconic items from films and music legends. An original concept painting from 1940 by Gustaf Tenggren of Pinocchio trapped in a birdcage sold for $69,200 in London on Nov. 29, 2012.

    A replica fibreglass "SKYFALL" sign, one of a limited edition of 13 made post production by the Bond Art Department from the original prop sign used in the 2012 United Artists/EON Productions film, Skyfall, sold for $14,000. The first of the edition of 13 to be offered to the public, all proceeds from the sales will be donated to a special charity chosen by EON Productions.

    A corset by designer Jean Paul Gaultier that Madonna wore during her "Blond Ambition" tour, 1990, including her performance at Olympic Stadium in Barcelona on Aug. 1, 1990, sold for $51,920. It is described as a "couture corset in green silk with conical cups and beaded fringe, embroidered with candy stripes of opalescent sequins and peppermint bugle beads..."

    A prop chalice used in the film, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, 1989, sold for $19,000. Made of clay and applied with plaster and mud to "simulate distress," the "Holy Grail" in the film was supposedly used by Jesus at "the Last Supper."

    Designed fro Rolling Stones' frontman, Mick Jagger, for the British band's U.S. tour in 1972, a "flamboyant lace-up sleeveless jumpsuit of pearl white velour, embellished allover with silver metal poppers backed by transparent sequins," sold for $32,000.

    An autograph postcard, signed by the late musician John Lennon during their legendary honeymoon "Bed-In For Peace" in the Amsterdam Hilton, March 25-31,1969, sold for $15,000. Signed in felt pen in Lennon's hand are the names, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and illustrated with self-portrait caricature doodles of himself and Yoko.

    A collection of 39 color slides and 32 black and white negatives taken during the filming of BBC documentary about The Beatles and music in Liverpool, The Mersey Sound, from 1963, sold for $14,000. The collection includes two color shots of John, Paul and George next to the River Mersey, and many other images of the legendary band touring and performing.

    A prop compass made for Johnny Depp as "Captain Jack Sparrow" in the 2003 Walt Disney Pictures film, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl, sold for $11,000. The ebony and brass hand-painted compass was sold with two Aztec gold medallions, cast in brass and gold-plated.
