That were available on the market it's -- nice to have you with us Anthony Berger thanks for having me and I was saying to you earlier I mean we met many years ago when you were. Basically originally getting started and -- this company Squarespace is just completely blown up -- An office in Ireland's office starting up in Portland so -- -- come along way. And you are helping people develop their web presence there website and you originally came up with this idea as so many entrepreneurs do because there just wasn't a good option -- -- I I was initially billing it for myself I was very frustrated with what was out there I didn't like that. You know that there was no all in one solution I didn't like the designs out there were very kind of sloppily put together and so Squarespace was originally made -- For so I can make a -- myself. And Squarespace Patton had at the Super Bowl had not addressed in myrtle during the regular Wilson Preval my. When the smallest advertisers ever -- believe it how did you make that choice to do that because they think there's other startups. Yeah ugly out there who are in complying at evident as zero brilliantly -- -- but he didn't. Motto -- -- advertisers you ever Bubba and you're saying to me that you do feel like it paid off because it is generally how much money if that's that's millions of dollars. All said and done with everything -- very you know it's it's it's gonna cost you. Upper single digit millions -- more for the production and everything else he need to put into it. You know we found it to be successful. Where where where to -- missionary phase where. Our product is very very -- got great market adoption and conservative. Where were one of the best things that a lot of people haven't heard about and so after the success -- -- early television advertising -- -- enough comfort internally to say. -- let's take a little bit of a risk here and and into a bigger message. And in terms of that mass action to entrepreneurs people who are starting their way to thanked. What do you think -- the three biggest mistakes people are making with their web sites. Yet so I can get it back. I can summarize an industry that are that are pretty important. I -- -- -- the first one is sort of that. Packaging matters you know it's not just enough to you have a website online and -- -- you've taken that stat that really matters that. This site represents you and that it looks good that your messages coming see very clearly. I mean that was one of the problems I face when I was starting Squarespace and I felt like. You know what was out they didn't represent my identity well this is how most people are gonna judge you are gonna you know use Google they're gonna find you -- another profile service something like that but. You at a party at any time they go back to yeah alleged hit their exact web site that looks like it's from 1983. You don't look very good -- So for -- up to design that the presentation is absolutely critical. I think -- second mistake we see a lot is that. People aren't. People aren't specific they're not -- that they're not. They're not -- in a communications and a website you know they've got. Twenty different links twenty different pages twenty different sections very perverse -- and so I think the more effective sites out there right now especially. Because a lot of -- being viewed a mobile devices is to really get to the point and be. Sort of -- -- their content and realize that it's your job to summarize your message that people can digested and very fast way. And how about in terms of interactivity on the web -- how important you think that is. For a company that may or may not want to interact with a lot of people via the web site. Yeah I think. You know in terms of the content that -- putting on a big big beautiful images video content and things like that are always gonna help -- -- -- -- across. So -- -- were big fans of rich media. If you had to name and I -- wasn't putting you on the spot -- night. A couple of web sites that you think their companies that are doing it really well so -- there are people out there that are trying to look for an example yeah would you say. So it's actually kind of the entire. Way we present our our templates on Squarespace so we actually go through. Tens of thousands of sites in cure rated down and if you look at any one of -- -- there's like tons of customer examples using that temple to look nothing like the template that. Are just fantastic examples of great sites. Also an -- in our customers area you've got. Some big brands like Michael cores taken out using using Squarespace it to build really beautiful sights actually. I love this anything with big media and and and rich imagery is great. Your story. Is one of perseverance and you've made it stereo which Turkey wasn't sending -- hurricane Sandia you literally any a lot of people think the start of a lot of brains if you -- just a lot of tenacity I did you really in -- -- -- just yeah quickly kind of yeah that's that. -- RA as crazy I sadly don't like three limit sorry it's it's -- case. Yet we we had a data center in downtown Manhattan that was in a flood zone. And we have multiple data centers online now so we would not be doing this today but when you're smaller you can't you know -- -- -- And during hurricane we -- -- more fuel tanks were flooded and to keep that this an online we actually carried fuel up seventeen flights of stairs. The she's twenty people -- it was set up from the company he was sort of -- And isn't continuously for hours latter days for three days and it -- and it didn't get a cent to anybody who apparently thinks that they had to overcome a lot of I think Squarespace Cindy Anthony story thank you so much Anthony for -- -- best -- with everything congratulations thank you so much. So imagine and it's no crowds no waiting no fitting room and -- and custom tailored suit thanks to this new start up. You no longer have to step in the store even go to the -- to look like a million bucks not standards high tech website lets you measure yourself from head to -- And then they're gonna create custom tailored suit just for you here explainer both the co founders and CEOs of not standard jungle and Matt -- it's a nice to have both of you with us -- -- and I senior wearing your product today of course they did you measure -- -- for this product no we have professionals you have professional do that. So that was -- one of my first questions because they think about my husband for example I'm not so sure that I would hand him the measuring tape and say go to it -- Figure it out and -- in the details how do you do that how do you make sure that it's right. -- the great -- -- he has options your husband who he can choose to use our so militant videos if you trust himself of any of them. He can choose to use our web cam if he says I'm gonna put it in the -- of technology. Ability to -- -- scared me and had to make my suit. On the back in -- -- -- he can use that are registered program which is. Pretty -- what we actually did is over the past couple years we built a database. All of the common suits that our customers come to us formally -- What was the favorite -- you had before you had your first customs it. At any of -- that means the major brand -- just yet they're J. Crew -- Brooks Brothers. They come to us and they say this is my favorites in this is what it looked like it but I wish -- -- or half an inch longer of the waste was -- smaller and they were just a little bit tighter in the -- Great we know exactly what you look like new measuring tape required and we can make a custom suit basically -- reverse engineering what's in her -- So your husband doesn't have to be comfortable with the measurement. And had the opportunity to do this for ourselves as just a passion project making -- for ourselves with custom tailors. -- into if my friend visited but could he -- -- as to what -- -- never came. We get -- this cap. That question never goes away but you know five generations later and five years later. We have come you know light years from where we want started. Into -- seven global -- -- you know a watcher employees all over the globe. And services that are second -- have called in service. What does it cost to get one of these six. Great question we we started at 500 dollars we start now 500 dollars well on the web site. And you can come into one of our -- -- and get someone to design something specifically for for you from scratch for about 800 dollars. We also do a lot of corporate fittings and in sports teams like we do the University of Texas football team. And very nice obviously a lot of the larger six yes you guys make them and that that's absolutely clear it. They didn't -- told an understatement for those whose -- and so but there's Mets at the offline in the -- -- -- start around 800 dollars and can go upwards of 3000 so. For the you know discerning Joseph men who knows what he wants and knows the fabric brand that he requires we have -- -- as well. What's the goal for you do you want to be sold for example would you like a place inside about Bloomingdale's or Saks or is it to stay. And -- new survey just released by thestreet.com shows that 36% of Americans are afraid to fly that is more than a third of our country. So before you pack your bags -- listen up. They get canceled all the time but now recently as a result of Ukraine as a result of instability in the Middle East we've now seen flight cancellations. And this this startled beat out the 36% of Americans saying they don't wanna travel by their main reactors experts. -- Americans say they are afraid to fly internationally and is actually greater on the East Coast verses the West Coast so. On the west Arabs -- and the East Coast you know more than 40% of people say they don't want -- fly internationally where on the West Coast. It's in the 20% 20/20 5%. And women more than men so 42%. Of women according to our survey don't want to fly internationally 27% of men. And older people more than him for people in what do you think is the reason -- that bring well a lot of -- is is you know men tend to be you know. More adventurous than women anyways we intend to be more afraid I think the East Coast West Coast thing which is really interesting is -- adjusting the East Coast is a little bit more aware. Of all the conflicts going on in Europe the Middle East so they can be little bit you know seems like closer to them. And there's also issues though this summer with drive and well if you don't want to fly you know you want to save money. You should dry you know it's a lot cheaper you don't kick and hit a family you don't have to spend as much money and ticket prices. But the thing about driving is that when people plan their trip. About 95% of people actually overspend whatever their budget -- because as you're driving along the -- you inevitably come upon something that you end up spending money -- -- stuck to shot -- the cancer in the backseat they -- like stop at their favorite restaurant may be -- sandwiches say well we won't -- those Williams -- but typical -- you're somebody hit -- I would be the what to -- -- -- like. In terms that are planning a good summer vacation and staying within budget what's your recommendation well there are a number of of you know camps you can use gas but he there's an -- called -- -- -- it will help you save money on fantastic prices. And then there are a number of reward cards so there's a couple of reward cards for gasoline in particular that gave you three or 4% fat. Both American Express is something called blue cash and visa has the card called Penn said.
