— -- Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez received the Radio Disney Hero Award this weekend for her philanthropic work in the U.S. and around the world.
Lopez, who was presented with the award during the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, thanked the cheering audience for the recognition.

Do the right thing, even when it’s difficult or the unpopular thing to do, because that’s what a hero really is.”
