She and husband reportedly bid on $125 million Beverly Hills estate.
March 20, 2009 — -- Pop diva Mariah Carey may be moving out of the Big Apple and into the biggest Beverly Hills mansion.
Newlyweds Carey and Nick Cannon have reportedly placed a bid on the Fleur de Lys estate in Beverly Hills, the world's most expensive mansion, listed at $125 million.
The mansion is owned by Texas billionaire David Saperstein and was remodeled with Italian marble, gold-embossed leather walls and gold-leaf crowned moldings.
On five acres, the 45,000-square-foot, French-style estate also boasts 15 bedrooms, a ballroom, multiple kitchens, a screening room and a library complete with a first-edition book collection.
Cannon and Carey plan to pursue their careers in Los Angeles and have been house hunting for the last three months.
