After her electrifying performance, "GMA's" Sam Champion went backstage with Minaj, who's been called "hip-hop's superwoman," where she gushed that being on stage is a dream come true.

quicklist: 1title: Why She Loves Pinktext: Known to push the fashion envelope, Minaj wore an ensemble that combined leopard print plastic rain boots with a seafoam green top and a whole lot of bubblegum pink -- the color that has become her signature. Minaj explained why the rosy hue inspires her.
"Pink is a lifestyle. It makes me feel exhilarated, euphoric and free. It makes me feel unstoppable," she said. "When I see pink, it really does make me happy and brightens up my day."

quicklist: 2title: Wigs Give Her Some Umphtext: Wigs are another trademark element of Minaj's style. Today she sported a platinum, blonde wig -- a hybrid between a big afro and a classy bob. Minaj said wigs are a way to express various personas onstage.
"This is my Harajuku Barbie wig. When I have a bob, I feel like a little sophisticated ladybug," she said. But this "'do takes some umph."

quicklist: 3title: All-Star Collaborations 'Dream Come True'text: Collaborations with legendary rap and hip-hop artists like Kanye West, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne helped put Minaj on the mainstream map, but her rise to fame has been a tough and rewarding process. "I've been an underground artist .. just doing mix tape after mix tape, and now, to see the people I've admired my entire life, to work with them and be on stage with them, I don't mean to sound all mushy, but it feels like a dream come true."

quicklist: 4title: 'Deafened by Screams' Opening for Britney Spearstext: Currently opening for Britney Spears's concerts all over the world, Minaj has been surprised by her sudden success. "To do clubs with 200 people, and then stand in front of thousands, I got chills ... once I got on stage, I was almost deafened by screams. I could have cried right there."

quicklist: 5title: She'll Do Anything For Her Barbstext: Despite her sky-high success, the performer remains humble, remembering that her fans, which she affectionately calls her Barbies, or Barbs, remain the core to her success. When asked what her plans are for her career, she had two goals: make her big-screen debut and throw a part for her fans.
"I want to shut down Disneyworld with my Barbs and have a slumber party with them ... They give me so much life."

She continued, "I just want to thank 'Good Morning America' for believing in me. This is a dream come true for a little girl from Southside Jamaica Queens. It's been a pleasure."
