"I try to get it in every movie," he joked to MTV. “It’s ironic, because David [Fincher, the director] said to me from the beginning, this is a warts and all movie. It can have no vanity. You have to see the naked underbelly of this character."

He continued, comparing the role to Europe, where they "don't give a s--- about any of that stuff, they just play real people."

"That was the spirit of the thing," he said. "And there’s some brief, very brief nudity, I think in the movie.”

Affleck joked that, "You’ve gotta pay fifteen bucks to see it in 3D… it’s better in 3D. You should know it was very cold.”

"Gone Girl" is set to hit theaters this Friday!
