Nov. 27, 2012 — -- intro: It's official: Cory and Topanga are together again.
Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have signed on to reprise their roles as childhood sweethearts for the pilot of "Girl Meets World," the "Boy Meets World" spinoff being developed by the Disney Channel.
According to TVLine.com, the sequel, if it happens, will find Cory and Topanga happily married and raising their 13-year-old daughter, Riley. A nationwide casting search is underway for Riley, from whose point of view the story will be told. Michael Jacobs, executive producer of "Boy Meets World" and "Charles in Charge," is developing the show.
For those who don't remember, "Boy Meets World" was a staple of ABC's "TGIF" comedy block from 1993 to 2000 and helped untold numbers of teens deal with the awkwardness of growing up. While you wait for the triumphant return of Cory and Topanga, check out what the cast has been up to since "Boy Meets World" went off the air:
