Calvin Harris Breaks Silence on His Split From Taylor Swift

— -- Calvin Harris is putting an end to rumors surrounding his split from Taylor Swift.

The DJ took to Twitter to explain that the break-up was amicable.

"The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect," he wrote.

On Wednesday, ABC News confirmed that Swift, 26, and Harris, 32, had ended their relationship. The news came just a few months after the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary by taking a tropical vacation.

"I’m in a magical relationship right now," Swift gushed to Vogue in April. "And of course, I want it to be ours and low-key."

"This is the one thing that’s been mine about my personal life,” she said at the time.
