According to Connor Cruise, tabloid stories that claim that he has a strained relationship with his mother, Nicole Kidman, are false.

"I don't care what people say, I know that me and Mum are solid," Cruise, an aspiring deejay, told Woman's Day in Australia. "I love her a lot. My family means everything. Yeah, I love my music, but the family comes before everything else."

Kidman, 46, adopted Cruise, 19, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise in 1995. Since their split, Kidman was rarely seen out with Connor or his sister, Isabella. Still, Cruise, who recently visited his "second home," Kidman's native Australia, for a gig, dismissed the notion that the two aren't speaking.
"I love my mum," he said.
