March 25, 2014 -- When former "Bachelor" contestant Renee Oteri got married, the photos indicated that it was a low-key affair.

Still, former "Bachelorette" star Desiree Hartsock was one of the few who got to partake in the special day.

"Renee was a beautiful bride in her vintage lace dress with her man by her side, whom she has loved since she was 12," Hartsock wrote on her blog. "They shared their love for each other in the presence of only a few people and I was more than honored to have been a witness."

Hartsock explained that the decision to forgo a big wedding in favor of "an intimate exchanging of vows down at the courthouse" was an appropriate one for Oteri and her new husband, Bracy Maynard.

"She is such a sweet person with a love for life that is infectious and inspiring," Hartsock gushed. "Renee couldn't hide her happiness and joy as she spoke of her story."

But now, it seems that Oteri is ready to let Hartsock take her place as the blushing bride: She even threw her bouquet to the former "Bachelorette" star.

"Awwww thank you @DesHartsock!" Oteri wrote on Twitter. "I'm still laughing over the bouquet toss. You're next!"
