Inside Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol’s Separate Lives

— -- Things seem to be cooling off between Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol.

Neither has yet to comment on multiple reports that they have split.

But, just months after talking marriage, they do appear to be leading separate lives.

On Tuesday, Ebersol posted an Instagram video of him snuggling with a furry friend, while "You've Got a Friend in Me," the theme from "Toy Story,' played in the background.

He also wrote a lengthy post that seemed to offer some insight into his current state of mind.

"We are nothing if we are not a collection of the scars, tattoos, and smiles of a life well lived. I wish for you today, that you find great joy in the joy you spark in others. If nothing else, I hope you're happy just in knowing that you made me happy," he wrote.

He added, "It is never lost on me the love with which I have been blessed. For that, I aim to live up to Colossians 3:12."

While Ebersol was spending time with a four-legged pal, Spears was snuggling up to a two-legged one.

On Monday, she posted a snap of her hugging a male friend while visiting her home state Louisiana.

"So nice to be home!" she wrote. "Nothing like Louisiana boys!"

The 33-year-old singer first went pubic with her relationship with Ebersol, 32, a writer and producer and the son of "Saturday Night Live" co-creator Dick Ebersol, last November, telling "Extra," "Yes, there is a special someone."

Things heated up quickly between the two. Ebersol spent Christmas with Spears and her two boys, and she posted a photo of the four of them in matching PJs. They also attended the Super Bowl together, and celebrated his birthday and Valentine's Day.

In March, the pop star was talking marriage. "I'm very blessed to have him a part of my life," Spears told "Extra" in March.

When asked about possibly tying the knot, the twice-married Spears replied, "You never know. Who knows?"
