— -- A few days after Maksim Chmerkovskiy explained his falling out with ex "Dancing With the Stars" partner Kirstie Alley, the actress may have responded.

"Dear Sir..after you have a** raped me there is really no reason to include 'I wish you the best'.. It's rhetorical," she tweeted on Friday.

She followed that up on Sunday with "To those who believe nasty gossip spewed by others, please stop following. To those who know me, carry on."

These tweets could be aimed at Chmerkovskiy, who went on "Watch What Happens Live" early last week to explain why he and Alley don't get along anymore, even though he said he thinks the world of Alley.

Chmerkovskiy said "until recently" he got along with the actress and then made references to Alley's faith of Scientology. He added, of his 2011 pairing with Alley on "DWTS," that, "She stopped getting along with me. ... We had a great relationship that I thought we had a great relationship."

But as most people do, new friendships often force you to lose touch with old friends.

"I got a message that now that I'm associating with other people, that [she said] she can't be associated with, I am no longer to be spoken with," he added. "It is what it is."
