What Jacqueline Bisset Really Said During Her Acceptance Speech
The censors bleeped her, and here's what you missed.
Jan. 12, 2014 -- Jacqueline Bisset was so overcome with emotion while accepting the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Show, Miniseries or TV Movie that she stood silently for the first few moments on stage.
And then she cursed.
During her speech, the "Dancing on the Edge" actress was bleeped at one point, but here's what she actually said: "For those who have given me s--t, like my mother always said, 'Go to hell and don't come back!'"
Golden Globe Nominees 2014, the Complete List
The rest of the speech was very heartfelt.
"I think it was 47 years ago, the Hollywood Foreign Press gave me a nomination [for promising newcomer]," she said. "Thank you very much, HFP. I'm absolutely shaking. I cannot believe this."
Bissett gave a nod to her co-star, Chiwetel Ejiofor, who is nominated for "12 Years a Slave," and even gave beauty advice.
"Forgive everybody. It's the best beauty treatment," she said. "Forgiveness of yourself and for others. I love my friends I love my family and you're so kind."
