J.K. Rowling Scolds 'Harry Potter's' Matthew Lewis for Sexy Photo Shoot
"Well, this is awkward," the 'Harry Potter' actor responded.
— -- So, Matthew Lewis, the actor who played Neville Longbottom in the "Harry Potter" series and yes, the child star who is all grown up, was recently on the cover of Attitude magazine.
And let's just say, he's showing off a lot.
In fact, inside the magazine, there are pics where he's just wearing underwear and not much else.
"Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling got involved, tweeting: "@Mattdavelewis Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake."
The acclaimed author was referring to the time Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe was naked in a play.
The best part of this is Lewis' tweet back: "Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo ..." he answered.
In the end, Rowling responded in support.
"@Mattdavelewis I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on," she wrote.
Lewis, now 25, started in the "Potter" series back in 2001 when he wasn't even a teen yet, so it's easy to understand Rowling's response.
