Justin Bieber Investigated in Alleged Robbery Attempt
The pop singer, 20, has faced growing legal trouble in recent years.
May 14, 2014— -- Justin Bieber is being investigated in connection with an alleged attempted robbery that happened Monday in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations officials confirmed to ABC News.
Bieber, 20, has not been arrested.
Detectives are interviewing the victim of the attempted robbery. According to ABC affiliate KABC, the reported incident took place at around 10:30 p.m. Monday at Sherman Oaks Castle Park, a family entertainment center featuring miniature golf and batting cages.
That night, Bieber posted video online showing himself sinking a putt.
"I'm the best mini-putter in the whole world," he says on the video.
The "Baby" singer has faced growing legal trouble in recent years. He was investigated in connection with an egg-throwing incident at a neighbor's house. Earlier this year, he was arrested in Miami Beach, charged with drag racing and DUI.
