Justin Bieber revealed exactly what happened on Instagram Friday by posting a photo of his ankle in ice. In a photo caption, the singer said he sprained his ankle "playing ball."

Bieber, who is currently on his Purpose World Tour, added that he's "gonna be taking it easy tonight," but he still plans to "crush."

The Biebs's latest injury comes one week after the singer fell into a hole while performing onstage in Saskatoon, Canada.

It appears that Bieber, 22, did take the stage after his ankle injury. The singer posted a video of himself performing in Cincinnati, even hopping around on one leg during one moment.

Hopefully Bieber has more luck as he continues the Purpose World Tour, which doesn't end until November 29 in London.
