July 13, 2011 — -- First Mila Kunis, now Justin Timberlake. The boy band star turned actor has been invited to a Marine Corps Ball.

After Marine Sgt. Scott Moore invited Kunis to the ball via a YouTube video, Kelsey De Santis, a Virginia-based Marine, uploaded her own video asking Timberlake to accompany her to the Marine Corps Ball on Nov. 12 in Washington, D.C.

A representative for Timberlake did not immediately respond to ABCNews.com's request for comment on whether or not he'll attend. De Santis joked in the video, "If you can't go, all I can say is, cry me a river."

Last week, Moore made headlines with his invitation to Kunis. Kunis and Timberlake star in the upcoming romantic comedy "Friends With Benefits."

In an e-mail sent to ABCNews.com this week, Moore said he asked the sexy "Black Swan" actress to be his date on a dare from his fellow Marines.

"It was kind of a bet between me and Marines in my platoon. I told everyone I was going to do it, but they didn't think I would go through with it," he wrote. "Of course, a bet between Marines must be honored, so I took the chance. You can't make shots that you don't take, so I took the best shot I could."

Moore admits that taking Kunis to the ball was a longshot.

"We all talk about what we are going to do when we get back, and this was my dream," he said. "I do feel bad for putting her on the spot, but it's not like I was going to bump into her on the streets of Musa Qala between now and the ball."

Instead, Moore, a data systems technician with the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, currently stationed in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, set up a YouTube page called Go With Me Mila and posted a video asking the 27-year-old starlet to accompany him to a ball on Nov. 18th in Greenville, N.C.

Mila Kunis' Date Is a Marine Sergeant in Afghanistan

"Hey Mila, Sgt. Moore, but you can call me Scotty," the sergeant said in uniform and dark sunglasses outside his bunker in Afghanistan. "I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball with yours truly. So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now."

Over the weekend, Kunis said yes while doing press for "Friends with Benefits," with co-star Timberlake.

The 20-second video touched Timberlake, who vowed to make it happen when Fox411 asked Kunis about the invite.

"Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country," Timberlake told Kunis.

Then, in a message intended for Moore, Timberlake said, "I'm going to work on this, man. This needs to go down."

Taking a second to confer with her publicist, Kunis agreed. "I'll go. I'll do it for you," she said before asking Timberlake if he was going as well?"

"They don't want me. They want you," Timberlake responded. "You need to do it for your country."

Resolved, Kunis confirmed, "I'll do it."

Moore said he got the news from one of his friends back home and his initial reaction was "disbelief." Moore is from Grove City, Pa., and his unit is based in Camp Lejeune, N.C. He said he has also heard from Kunis "people."

He expressed his gratitude toward Timberlake, whom he called his "wingman."

"It's nice to know he can get over the jealously to help a brother out," he said jokingly before adding, "Justin Timberlake's encouragement definitely helped; I owe him one."

Moore said this year's ball will be special, not just because Kunis is his date, but also because its the 236th birthday of the Marine Corps and his unit will be home from Afghanistan. As for any special plans he has in store for Kunis, "I think I'll keep that a secret for now; we have to iron out the details."

But in terms of what she can expect, he quoted Eleanor Roosevelt: "The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!"
