It's official -- Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are getting married on May 24 in Florence, Italy.
The power couple will get married at Florence's imposing 16th century Belvedere Fort, a spokeswoman at the Florence mayor's office told the Associated Press today.
The couple rented the fort -- located next to the Boboli Gardens -- for 300,000 euros or $410,000.
A Protestant minister will preside, spokeswoman Elisa Di Lupo told the AP.
Guests will head to Italy next weekend after first arriving in Paris for another type of celebration before the actual nuptials, ABC News confirmed last week.
"I love Florence, I love Italy and the Italian lifestyle," West told Florence's La Nazione newspaper. "And I think we conceived our daughter North here, among the masterpieces of the Renaissance. It was our first honeymoon."
He continued to gush about Florence, saying: "It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, for me the most beautiful in Europe."
West is in Florence now -- not just planning the wedding, but continuing his study and love for fashion.
"Here I want to learn the art of the designer," West told La Nazione. "Ed Herman is my Master. For me fashion is not a game, it's a real passion and here in his study are not treated as a celebrity but as an artist."
West isn't hiding his excitement for the big day next weekend.
"[Very] excited. But very happy," he told the paper. "I'm a romantic: Kim for Mother's Day I donated a wall of flowers. The family is everything to me, is the antidote to the drudgery of fame. The family and the creativity relax me. And I like to create for my family."
