Macklemore Shares Adorable Video of His Daughter Taking Her First Steps
The rapper celebrated with his wife, Tricia Davis.
— -- Macklemore is celebrating the little things.
The rapper, who is currently touring with his partner Ryan Lewis overseas, shared how his family celebrated his 10-month-old daughter Sloane taking her first steps.
Macklemore posted the heartwarming video on Instagram with the caption, "Best moment ever... #firststeps."
In the video, baby Sloane can be seen standing up with the help of Mackelmore's wife Tricia Davis, only to fall over again. When Davis tried to help her stand up again, she does it on her own, walking a few steps, to the family's delight.
Mackelmore and Davis -- who were captured inside The SSE Arena in Belfast, Ireland -- cheer, hug and clap afterward. The rapper also hugged his daughter, telling her, "You did it! You did it! Wow."
Last August, Macklemore announced on Twitter that he and Davis welcomed their daughter May 29. The two wed a month later.
Her birth inspired the rapper to create a song called "Growing Up," featuring Ed Sheeran. Macklemore shared what inspired him to write the song on his website.
"There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe," he wrote. "She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life."
