— -- Actress and activist Mia Farrow is speaking out about the sudden death of her adopted son Thaddeus.
The 27-year-old was found in his car Wednesday in Roxbury, Connecticut and today his death was ruled a suicide by the local medical examiner, the Associated Press reported.
Farrow took to social media this afternoon expressing shock over her son's death.
"We're devastated by the loss of Thaddeus, our beloved son and brother," Farrow wrote. "He was a wonderful, courageous person who overcame so much hardship in his short life."
Farrow, 71, adopted Thaddeus in 1994 from an orphanage in India. He was a paraplegic and a polio survivor.
