June 19, 2014 -- Miley Cyrus took time out from her busy schedule to record a video for a young fan who was suffering from cystic fibrosis, and the child was able to watch the clip before she passed away on Friday.

Caley Camarillo's mother, Teresa, wrote on Facebook that it meant the world to her 12-year-old daughter.

"I just wanted to share how things go full circle. Miley Cyrus was the very first celebrity that Caley was into and the very first celebrity she met," Camarillo wrote. "Caley's life was then sent into an amazing journey meeting a lot of wonderful people who have taken the time to get to know such an amazing soul."

A few years ago, Cyrus met the Gilroy, California, girl, but was unable to see her again in person this time. However, when Caley saw the video, her mother wrote that she "managed to let out a smile.

"I take great comfort in this for some reason," she added.

In the clip, which Camarillo shared on her Facebook page, Cyrus said that she was still praying for Caley.

"I'm still thinking about you, I'm sending you some love," she said. "I just want you to know that you on are on my mind and in my heart and I just wanted to send you a quick message to say hello to you."

Meanwhile, Cyrus dedicated her concert on Sunday night to Caley. She tweeted, "Tonight's show is for @MissCaley."
