After 26 years of marriage, four children and a successful run on "Little People, Big World" since 2006, Matt and Amy Roloff have separated.
"Though we have weathered many storms together, we recently made the tough decision to engage in a trial separation," they said in a statement on Wednesday. "Matt remains living on the farm in our guesthouse and we work together every day on the farm, on our business endeavors and most importantly, raising our amazing children."
But the star patriarchs aren't the first couple on reality TV to separate. There have been multiple Kardashian break-ups, the Gosselins and even a wrestling legend.
Here's a look back at other reality TV couples that decided to take a break or call it quits.
Kate and John Gosselin
After a decade of marriage and the couple's famous eight children, Jon and Kate Gosselin divorced in 2009. The couple's run on "Jon & Kate Plus 8" started in 2007 and ran until they decided to divorce in 2009. Kate Gosselin then took over on "Kate Plus 8" until 2011.
Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian
One of the most publicized splits of 2013 was the former "Khloe and Lamar" stars. After months of alleged drug use and infidelity on Odom's part, Kardashian filed for divorce in December.
Kardashian got her start on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" in 2007, but her whirlwind romance with the basketball star garnered their own show, "Khloe and Lamar" in 2011. The couple was married for four years before she filed for divorce.
Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy
The "Real Housewives of New York City" star and Hoppy married in 2010 and the couple had their own show, "Bethenny Ever After," in 2011 and 2012. But in December 2012, the couple separated and Frankel filed for divorce the next month.
Hulk and Linda Hogan
The Hulk and Linda Hogan married in 1983 and had a daughter, Brooke, and a son, Nick, before signing on for a reality show, "Hogan Knows Best," from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, Linda Hogan filed for divorce in Florida and later claimed she believed her husband had an affair.
Hulk remarried in 2010 to Jennifer McDaniel.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
The biggest reality star of them all, Kim Kardashian, began dating NBA player Kris Humphries in 2010 and got engaged in May 2011. The couple was married Aug. 20, 2011 on E! in an extravagant wedding ceremony. After 72 days of marriage, Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries on Oct. 31, 2011.
While they were dating, the basketball star had become a staple on her show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Kim Take New York."
Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson
Lachey married Simpson in 2002, but announced their separation in 2005. Before their split, the two singers were featured on MTV's "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," where she famously wondered whether "Chicken of the Sea" was tuna or chicken.
The couple also starred in the television special, "The Nick and Jessica Variety Hour."
