'Little People, Big World,' the Gosselins and Other Reality Couples That Split

Look back at other TV couples that called it quits.

March 13, 2014 — -- intro: After 26 years of marriage, four children and a successful run on "Little People, Big World" since 2006, Matt and Amy Roloff have separated.

"Though we have weathered many storms together, we recently made the tough decision to engage in a trial separation," they said in a statement on Wednesday. "Matt remains living on the farm in our guesthouse and we work together every day on the farm, on our business endeavors and most importantly, raising our amazing children."

But the star patriarchs aren't the first couple on reality TV to separate. There have been multiple Kardashian break-ups, the Gosselins and even a wrestling legend.

Here's a look back at other reality TV couples that decided to take a break or call it quits.

title: Kate and John Gosselintext: After a decade of marriage and the couple's famous eight children, Jon and Kate Gosselin divorced in 2009. The couple's run on "Jon & Kate Plus 8" started in 2007 and ran until they decided to divorce in 2009. Kate Gosselin then took over on "Kate Plus 8" until 2011.

Kardashian got her start on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" in 2007, but her whirlwind romance with the basketball star garnered their own show, "Khloe and Lamar" in 2011. The couple was married for four years before she filed for divorce.

Hulk remarried in 2010 to Jennifer McDaniel.

While they were dating, the basketball star had become a staple on her show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Kim Take New York."
