— -- Several of Dolly Parton's iconic friends have stepped up to help the country legend in her quest to aid those affected by the devastating Tennessee wildfires.

Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers, Alison Krauss and others are going to perform at Parton's planned benefit "Smoky Mountains Rise" on Dec. 13 in Nashville to help victims of the wildfires.

The three-hour telethon will aim to raise money for Parton's Dollywood Foundation My People Fund. During the show, fans can call in at 1-866-CARE MORE and donate.

Parton, 70, has been very active in supporting the victims, especially with their connection to her hometown of Sevier County, Tennessee.

"My home in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee is some place special. Wildfires have affected many of the people -- my people -- who live in those beautiful mountains," Parton said in an official press release for the benefit. "We want to provide a hand up to those families who have lost everything in the fires."

Earlier this month, Parton herself pledged $1,000 a month to families that lost their homes in the wildfires. Thousands of acres have burned due to the wildfires, destroying hundreds of buildings and homes. Those in need can apply for the funds at dollywoodfoundation.org.

Days after her pledge, Parton spoke out yet again, announcing the benefit.

"I’ve always believed charity begins at home," she added.
