'Sex Box' Show: Coming to a TV Near You
They then talk about it.
March 12, 2014 — -- It's exactly what its provocative title suggests.
"Sex Box" is a show where real couples -- who are having relationship issues, especially in the bedroom -- step into a soundproof, clean box and have sex. Then, they step outside and talk to a panel of experts.
This show could be coming to a timeslot near you, as WE tv ordered a one-hour pilot of the show, originally based of the hit U.K. series of the same name.
"Sex Box is an intriguing and original concept from a top production partner and we're very excited about its potential, which has already been clearly demonstrated overseas — where it's a hit," WE tv President Marc Juris told Entertainment Weekly.
The idea is to get responses from the couple when they are "in the moment," according to Deadline. The approach "fosters conversations about intimacy that are completely filterless and emotionally honest."
The U.K. reality special of "Sex Box" apparently drew an audience of 906,000 last October.
