— -- Actor Shia LaBeouf was released from police custody today after the former "Transformers" star had been arrested for causing a disturbance at the Broadway show "Cabaret" on Thursday night, the New York City Police Department told ABC News.

He was released this morning after posting $2,500 bail.

According to court records, LaBeouf, 28, stood up in the middle of the show "Cabaret" at Studio 54 while the performance was underway.

A security guard said LaBeouf started yelling “loudly at the actors onstage,” according to court papers.

Patrons turned to look and the security guard asked him to leave. However, LaBeouf grew agitated and screamed at the guard, "F*** you. This is f****** bullsh**. Do you know my life? Do you know who the f*** I am? Do you know who I am?" He also spat toward an officer, prosecutors said.

During his time in custody, LaBeouf ranted and rambled incoherently, police said, threatening the officers and using offensive language. He remained handcuffed until being fingerprinted.

LaBeouf was wearing a blue T-shirt with a rip on the right shoulder. He also exhibited an unpleasant body odor, police told ABC News.

He was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing. An additional count of harassment was later added, police said.

A representative for LaBeouf has not returned a request for comment.

It's just the latest problem for the actor.

In January, he was videotaped reportedly headbutting a man during a bar fight in London.

LaBeouf was also recently accused of plagiarizing a graphic novel by Daniel Clowes for his short film, "HowardCantour.com." He later apologized.
