Calista Flockhart Thought Harrison Ford Was Sucked Out of 'The Millennium Falcon'
The actress is married to Harrison Ford, aka "Han Solo."
— -- On Thursday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," Jimmy Kimmel welcomed Calista Flockhart, the "Supergirl" star who happens to be married to Han Solo himself, Harrison Ford.
Flockhart relayed how she found out about Ford's accident on the set of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Ford's ankle was crushed when a hydraulic door on the Millennium Falcon malfunctioned.
"A producer called me...and said, 'The door fell!' And I thought he was on some commercial airline, and the door fell off and he flew out of the airplane!" Flockhard said.
An incredulous Kimmel asked, "You didn't know what the Millennium Falcon was?"
"No!" the actress said. "And I called a friend and said, 'What the hell is the Millennium Falcon?!' I have never heard of that airline!"
Flockhart blamed her lack of "Star Wars" knowledge on growing up in a small town that didn't have a movie theater.
"How small could it have been?" Kimmel asked. "Was it the size of a thumbtack?"
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be released Dec. 18 by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
