July 31 -- Madonna took some heat from her dancers when she decided not to play her greatest hits on her sold-out world tour.

The singer's two longtime dancers pleaded with the star to reconsider adding some of her older hits to the lineup.

"In the beginning we were pushing, we're like, 'you have to do this song, this song, please, please,'" said Donna De Lory, who has been performing with Madonna since 1988 while releasing her own solo albums.

De Lory says she and fellow longtime dancer Niki Harris realized they wouldn't be able to change Madonna's mind when she decided to play just two of her hits, "La Isla Bonita," and "Holiday."

"She's obviously not into doing those old songs, and why would you want to go see someone who's bored onstage with the music?" asked De Lory.

Especially when audiences are paying big sums for the tickets. Even De Lory is subject to the charge. "Oh, I have to pay for my family," she said.

And she's working hard for that cash, finding time to record albums in between her work with Madonna. De Lory's current release, Bliss, shows off her sensual and breezy vocals.

While establishing herself as a singer, De Lory says she's also proud to provide one of the few constant elements in Madonna's varied career. "I think it's more about comfort," said De Lory. "With all these new things she's taken on that there's something there, y'know, that she can count on that we've got her back onstage."

Limp Bizkit Sued by Paramedic

A paramedic trying to help an injured fan at a Limp Bizkit show found himself seeking medical attention.

Christopher Dickinson is suing the rap-rock band, claiming he suffered brain damage after he was kicked unconscious by fans at the band's Oct. 29 concert in Detroit. He also alleges the band encouraged fans to rush the stage, with frontman Fred Durst telling them to ignore the security.

Limp Bizkit is not commenting on the lawsuit.
