Wedding Bells for MacDowell, O'Brien

Actress Andie MacDowell is tying the knot for the second time. The 43-year-old star of Four Weddings and a Funeral, Groundhog Day, and the new HBO movie Dinner With Friends will wed childhood friend Rhett Hartzog, 43, an Atlanta jewelry businessman.

According to Marion McBride, father of the bride-to-be, the marriage will take place in November in Asheville, N.C., where MacDowell lives.

"I am very happy for her. I know they have given it a lot of thought," McBride told The Associated Press Tuesday. "He is a friend she has known a long time. They've known each other since grammar school and through high school."

MacDowell was previously married to Paul Qualley, a fellow model she met while shooting a Gap ad. The two have three children together.

Also taking the plunge in the near future is 38-year-old beanpole talk show host Conan O'Brien, of Late Night With Conan O'Brien. The self-deprecating host, who always claims to be a loser with the ladies, popped the question to advertising executive Liza Powell. According to US Weekly, they met a year ago when Powell, 30, appeared in a skit about advertising on O'Brien's show.
