Reid-Daly Nuptials 'Indefinitely' Postponed
April 5 -- Chalk up another casualty to the impending actors' strike: the spring nuptials of Tara Reid and Carson Daly. The Josie and the Pussycats star and the MTV host were set to tie the knot next month but have now "indefinitely" postponed their wedding.
The 25-year-old Reid tells TV Guide she is trying to squeeze in more projects before the possible strike deadlines. She's already lined up The Guest, in which she'll play the love interest of Dude, Where's My Car? star Ashton Kutcher.
Says the American Pie actress, "So the good news is I got another movie. The bad news is that the wedding is not happening."
Adds the eyeliner-addicted blonde, "I had picked out the bridesmaids' dresses and the invitations, but we just canceled everything." Her fellow Pussycats, Rachael Leigh Cook and Rosario Dawson, are still set as bridesmaids, she says.
Reid insists that the postponement isn't a tragedy: "There's no rush. I'm 25 years old. … Once we kind of settle a bit, it will just be a better time to try to plan a wedding."
Daly and Reid met last year during MTV's "Spring Break" in Cancun, Mexico.
