Seinfeld's Wife Delivers Baby Girl
November 7 -- It's a "festivus" occasion for comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his wife, Jessica Sklar, who welcomed their first child into the world today.
Sklar, 29, gave birth to a girl, little Sascha Seinfeld, at a New York hospital, The Associated Press reports. "Both parents and baby are doing great," Seinfeld rep Elizabeth Clarke told the AP.
Sklar, a public relations exec, wed the 46-year-old comic back in December. The two were eager to have kids right away and had approximately two months of marital bliss before they discovered that Sklar was pregnant.
Looks like Seinfeld pal Regis Philbin is out of luck — Philbin broke the baby news back in April on his morning show, Live With Regis and Kathie Lee. The host had jokingly hoped that if the baby was a boy, the couple would name him Regis.
