T O R O N T O, Aug. 2 -- A former Franklin, N.H., resident, who was one ofthe stars in the popular Survivor television show, said she isconsidering an offer to pose for Playboy magazine.

Jenna Lewis, 22, who has 4-year-old twin daughters, said she andColleen Haskell, a 23-year-old Survivor contestant, havereceived offers to pose for Playboy.

It would have to be a lot of money because Im going to get ahuge amount of press on this. Im going to get a lot of negativity.Im a young mom, she told the Toronto Sun. Lewis has been in Toronto for the last couple of days promotingGlobal TV, which airs the show in Canada.

Careful ConsiderationLewis was voted off the tropical island of Palua Tiga in lastweeks ninth episode of the top-ranked summer show and has beenmaking television and radio talk show appearances ever since.

Lewis said posing for Playboy might hinder some of her othercareer moves, but it also would take care of my daughters formany, many years to come because I would act responsibly with themoney.

Lewis, a former day-care worker and part-time college studentwho is the daughter of former Franklin Mayor Jim Lewis, moved fromFranklin to California after the show was taped. She now lives inSan Francisco.

She has said she always wanted to pursue a career in modeling, acting or as a talk-show host. But Playboy is another story.

I dont know if I want my daughters to be running around theplayground and have everyone say, Oh, your moms in Playboy. Butthen, I justify it by saying its not pornographic; its a display ofbeauty. I really dont think its a bad magazine at all, she said.

Since being voted off the island, Lewis has appeared on CBS-TVsEarly Show, the David Letterman show, the Late, Late Show andEntertainment Tonight.

While still a survivor, Lewis was featured on the cover of Timemagazine in late June and interviewed by CBS 48 Hours and hasbeen the subject of countless Survivor forum discussions on theInternet.
