'Empire' Star Taraji Henson Asks Fans to Stop Sending Sweets, Says 'No More Cookies!'
Taraji Henson reveals her favorite kind of cookie is "anything with chocolate."
— -- Taraji P. Henson is getting a stomach ache from all of the sweet treats she has received in the mail.
The "Empire" actress appeared as a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and confirmed to the talk show host that a number of fans have sent her cookies in honor of her namesake character on the show.
The actress made a public plea to her "fellow Americans" to stop sending her cookies for the sake of her waistline.
"Please don't send me anymore cookies, because I can't eat them or I won't be able to fit in Cookie's clothing," the Emmy-nominated actress said.
"No more cookies; I've had all the cookies," she continued.
The actress, 45, also spoke to Kimmel about the success of "Empire" and how she reacted after finding out that first lady Michelle Obama asked to meet the actress at a White House state dinner Henson couldn't attend because of a work conflict.
