— -- Taylor Swift is still really excited about the success of her album, "1989."

To celebrate, she posted a photo from the year an album sold as many copies as hers has, which was in 2002.

"The last time an album sold as many copies as 1989 did first week, it was 2002, I was 12, and going through my 'braids phase'. #nofilternecessary," she wrote.

Swift's inaugural pop album sold 1.287 million copies in its first week. The last album to do that well was Eminem's "The Eminem Show," which sold 1.322 million copies during its release week in 2002.

“Without a doubt, this [album] is the best thing I’ve done," she said during an interview with "Good Morning America" recently. "So to have people able to finally have it now and to have the fans understand what I’ve been working on for two years, it’s just the most amazing feeling."
