Zac Brown Welcomes His First Baby Boy, and He's Huge

May 8, 2014— -- It only took five tries, but Zac Brown has welcomed a baby boy, and he's huge.

It's the singer's fifth child, the other four all girls, and he announced via Twitter today, "Zac & Shelly Brown are pleased to announce the arrival of Alexander Frost Brown! Born May 5, 2014."

Brown added to his Facebook page that the baby weighs in at "11 lbs, 7 oz. and 22.5 inches long."

This big bundle of joy joins girls Joni Mason, 3, Georgia Sloan, 4, Lucy, 5, and Justice, 7.

Brown announced this pregnancy in November.
