WATCH The Best Deals on Flat Screen TVs

Prices on flat screen TV's are expected to drop this holiday season, and there are even some bargains you can find before Black Friday.

Consumer Reports magazine's electronics editor Paul Reynolds shared some of its top picks for plasma and LCD TV's under $1,000 with "GMA."

Best Flat Screens Under $1,000

26-inch Vizio M261VP Razor LED

This model boasts great picture quality (one of the best at the 26 inch size), and has built in WiFi with internet apps.

32-Inch Sanyo DP32670

This 32-inch 720p LCD TV/DVD combo unit, which has an integrated DVD player, isn't loaded with features, but it offers a lot -- especially very good overall picture quality -- for a very low price. It also has a wider-than-average viewing angle for an LCD TV, though its sound was only fair, lower than many other sets this size. It could be a fine option for those looking for the convenience of an all-in-one TV that will be used in a secondary room of the house, such as a bedroom, home office or den.

37-inch Vizio XVT373SV Razor LED

This Vizio has good sound, excellent picture quality, built in WiFi with internet apps, and comes with Bluetooth remote with a slide-out qwerty keyboard.

42-inch LG 42LD520

This model has very good picture quality and good sound, and LG has a very low repair rate.

42-inch JVC LT-42P510

This 42-inch 1080p LCD TV from JVC, a 120Hz set, delivers very good overall picture quality, and its one of the few models this size with very good sound. It has JVC's "TeleDock" iPod dock, so it can play music, videos, and photos from an iPod or iPhone on the TV.

46-inch Hitachi Ultravision L46S604
This 46-inch 1080p LCD TV from Hitachi offers excellent overall picture quality and very good sound at a relatively low price, making it a CR Best Buy.
