Jan. 15, 2007 — -- "Good Morning America" viewers sent in questions for country star Sara Evans before her live concert appearance on Jan. 10.
After her performance, Evans answered a few of your questions.
From Hannah Simon, Dayton, Ohio: Out of all of the songs you have recorded, which means the most to you and why? Which is your favorite song?
Answer: I think "Born to Fly" is definitely one that tugs at my heart strings the most simply because it's really about me growing up in Missouri, dreaming of becoming a country music star. And it was my first release after my first child was born. A great time in my life!
From Kelsey, Cincinnati, Ohio: Just wondering what you do in your spare time when you're not performing.
Answer: I watch tons of TV and movies at night after the kids are in bed. I love it! I ride horses, and play softball as much as I can, and hang with my girlfriends. And of course, being a mom is my real job!
From Marcy Kirchner, Batavia, Ill.:When writing a song, do you write the words or music first?
Answer: I write both. And it depends on who I'm writing with. Some co-writers are stronger at music so I write more lyrics then.
