Music by the Black Crowes, "Shine Along"
Nov. 21, 2009— -- Twenty years after their debut album "Shake Your Money Maker," The Black Crowes are approaching their two-decade anniversary and continue their prolific recording careers with the release of their new, unique double album "Before the Frost ... Until the Freeze." The first disc of the album "Before the Frost" is an actual physical compact disc, while the second disc, "Until the Freeze," is accessible only though a download code included in the first disc.
This album includes 20 new and previously unreleased Black Crowes songs that were recorded live in front of a fans-only audience at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, N.Y. The creative concept for the recording and the unique release was founding member Chris Robinson's idea. The Black Crowes are currently touring through December with the "Stuck Inside Utopia" tour.
