Sept. 30, 2005 — -- "At 41, I'm not only a survivor, I'm someone who's really grateful," said country music superstar Wynonna Judd.

Judd performed "Attitude" this morning as part of "Good Morning America's" Women Rule concert series.

"I wrote it for anyone who needs an attitude adjustment," she said of the song. The song is from her new album "Her Story: Scenes From A Lifetime," which will be released on Tuesday. The album was taped at the Grand Ole Opry House during her last concert tour.

Judd got her start at 18, when she and her mother auditioned for RCA Records and were signed on the spot. The mother-daughter duo, The Judds, went on to sell more than 20 million records worldwide, win more than 60 industry awards, including five Grammys, nine Country Music Association Awards and eight Billboard Music Awards.

"We're the American dream," Judd said.

When her mother was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, Judd went out on her own. She has sold more than 9 million records.

Fame has been a rocky road for Judd, who discusses her battles with overeating and overspending in her new memoir "Coming Home To Myself."

"This book is for anyone who's sick and tired of being sick and tired," she said.

Judd has had a complicated relationship with her mother, which she writes about in-depth in the book. Yet, she still defends her parenting.

"She raised two champions," she said, referring to herself and her sister, actress Ashley Judd. "We do our thing. We show up, which is half the battle. We do our best."
