In a recent Monster survey, 89 percent of employees said flextime is key when evaluating a new job, but only about half of human resources professionals polled consider such programs important.
Flextime allows employees to work more flexible hours than a traditional work week schedule. For instance, an employee may choose to work four ten hours days instead of five eight hours days.
