— -- Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o got a delightful surprise on “Good Morning America” today from her “brother from another mother” -- John Boyega, her “Star Wars” co-star.

Boyega sent a special video message to Nyong'o, wishing her well on the upcoming premiere of the new live action film, “The Jungle Book,” in which she stars as Raksha, Mowgli's wolf mom.

“Lupita Nyong'o. She's forged by the Gods, she has a face that mathematically makes sense. And she's definitely, definitely talented,” a beaming Boyega says in the video. “Hey love, yes, it's Boyega! Surprise! I hope you're good. I hope ‘Jungle Book’ is going well and the tour is going well. I'm on ‘Star Wars’ right now shooting. We're missing you, we're missing your wisdom. I'm missing your grace. Honestly I can't wait to see you. Good luck!”

“Oh my goodness!” Nyong'o said, shocked to learn of his surprise.

Calling Boyega her “brother from another mother,” she said they are in “constant communication.”

“He makes me laugh at all hours of the day. He is just an infectious human being,” the actress explained. “You just want to be around him. And he is such a good leader when it comes to ‘Star Wars’ because he is so amped up. I mean he grew up on ‘Star Wars,’ it’s in his blood, you know?”

Disney's "The Jungle Book" swings into theaters tomorrow. Disney is the parent company of ABC News.
