Velveeta Taco Mac & Cheese

Velveeta, the family-friendly cheese that comes in a familiar yellow box, can be used for a surprising variety of recipes from macaroni and cheese, to salsa dip.
In celebration of Velveeta's 75th anniversary, America's favorite cheesy recipes were prepared on Good Morning America.
Ingredients
Cooking Directions
Brown meat in large skillet; drain. Stir in 2 and 3/4 cups water, salsa and chili powder. Bring to boil; stir in macaroni. Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until water is almost absorbed. Add Velveeta; stir until melted.
Top with crushed tortilla chips, chopped green onions and tomatoes, if desired.
Great Variation: Substitute Taco Bell Home Originals Taco Seasoning Mix for the chili powder.
Great Substitute: Prepare as directed, using Velveeta Mexican Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product with Jalapeño Peppers.
