Cooking Directions
Use a 6-quart slow cooker. Place a cooking rack in the bottom of the stoneware. Lay green onions on top of the rack. Skin the duck, remove the neck and giblets. Stuff the ginger and star anise in the cavity.
In a small bowl, combine the dry spices. Rub spices inside and outside the duck. Place duck inside cooker, breast side up. Drizzle with soy sauce and honey. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
