"The film is about more than abuse and incest. It has such a hopeful message," Sidibe said on "Good Morning America" in October. "You walk in one way and you walk out changed," she said.

    Directed by Clint Eastwood, "Invictus" was based on the book "Playing the Enemy" by John Carlin. The movie is set in South Africa and is based on the true story of Nelson Mandela, played by Morgan Freeman, who teams with Francois Pienaar, played by Matt Damon, in an attempt to unite and inspire their country.

    "The Blind Side," starring Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw, comes from the book "Blind Side, Evolution of a Game" by Michael Lewis. It tells the true story of Michael Oher, now a member of the Baltimore Ravens NFL team, who grew up in Memphis, Tenn., and bounced between foster care homes and the streets until he met the Tuohy family. The movie is "about a person with an immense amount of intellect and an immense amount of talent and a whole lot to give to society," Oher's adoptive father, Sean Tuohy, said on "Good Morning America."
