Sept. 1, 2005 — -- Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks, who make up the popular country duo Brooks and Dunn, swung by Bryant Park to perform for "Good Morning America's" Summer Concert Series.

So far Brooks and Dunn have sold 28 million records, more than any other duo in history except for Simon and Garfunkel. They have had 24 no. one singles, and they are on their way to a 25th with "Play Something Country," which is number 4 on the Billboard Chart this week.

Dunn was raised in four states and went to 13 schools, while Brooks led a less nomadic life, growing up in Shreveport, La., and on a family farm. But both will be in New York City on Nov. 15 to host the Country Music Awards.
