About Good Morning America

Good Morning America, hosted by Diane Sawyer and Charles Gibson, is broadcast weekdays on ABC. Good Morning America's headquarters are located in New York City.

Duties & Responsibilities

Interns at Good Morning America perform a variety of duties that are invaluable to the show's success. They play an integral role in the office, both in helping to hold down the fort and to manage the enormous flow of information that comes in every day.

Interns are included in some editorial meetings and in all phases of television production.

Qualifications

Internships are open to all majors. College juniors and seniors in good academic standing are preferred. Interns must receive academic credit for participation in the program.

What We Are Looking For

Applicants should have a serious interest in the broadcast journalism industry. Interns are most successful if they grasp concepts quickly, mix well with others, are efficient, reliable, and can juggle several tasks at one time.

Initiative is the key ingredient to making this internship an invaluable one. Students should possess good communications skills, both written and verbal. Ideally, students should have some journalism experience in either print or broadcast curriculum or previous internship experience. We rely on interns to work both day and evening shifts.

Above all, a sincere desire to learn more about broadcast journalism is the most important component to any application.

How To Apply
