Transcript for Deadly Albino Cobra Loose in California Suburb
To you to that desperate search for a dangerous snake on the loose terrorizing a California suburb. It's an albino cobra venomous and potentially dangerous. David Wright has the story. Reporter: Six feet long picture snapped by the owner of a lucky little dog. Tiko discovered it Monday when it slithered into its yard. It was a terrifying experience for him. Big, long, white snake. Reporter: His neck now has a battle scar but miraculously he survived after being treated at an animal hospital. I think it's a Su fan cobra. Reporter: Native to -- Native to Asia. I've been working with venomous snakes for ten years. Reporter: Dr. Evan Anton told us a bite from this kind of cobra could kill someone in less than an hour. It shuts down your nervous system so that is deadly. Actually much more deadly than the rattlesnakes we see around here. Reporter: Deadlier. Without a doubt. Reporter: Probably an illegal household pet that got loose but no so no one has owned up and neighbors are taking chances. I'm concerned we haven't found it yet. If I see it I'll call 911 and let them deal with it. Reporter: And run. And run. Reporter: Officials say that is the best thing to do if you do stumble across this snake. Call 911 and stand back and if somebody does happen to get bitten authorizes are ready to fly the crucial anti-venom up from the San Diego zoo, George. Thank goodness for that. Run first then call 911, okay, David, thanks very much.
