Now, to some happy news. Relief, joy and elation. That's what a dollar mother says she is feeling today, thanks to her conjoined twins separated. And now, well enough to leave the hospital for the first time. Ryan Owens has the story. Reporter: It's the moment doctors said might never happen. To be there for the first time in fresh air, ever. Reporter: The moment these two baby boys see sunlight for the first time. They couldn't open their little eyes because the sun was so bright. Reporter: The once conjoined twins, left the Dallas hospital Wednesday. This morning, are at a rehabilitation center well on the road to recovery. I don't see all of the tubes and the traches or the machines. They're my babies. And they're beautiful. Reporter: The boys, now 9 months told, were born joined from the bottom of their breastbone to the hipbone. Medical experts didn't think they would make it. But in August, when they were just 6 weeks old, doctors were able to separate them until a marathon nine-hour surgery. These days, it's easy to tell them apart. Take it from dad. Emmet is really easygoing. Laidback. Owen, a little more irritable. A little agitated at times. Reporter: Owen and emmet could go home in a matter of weeks. Certainly in time for their first birthday. They're not going to be perfectly Normal, healthy little boys. We'll say it for them. Reporter: "Good morning America," Ryan Owens, ABC news, Dallas.
