actors. Helen mirren and sir anthony hopkins. They're teaming up once again on the big screen. It's a new action movie called "red 2." We talked to bruce willis about it earlier in the week. Bianna golodryga caught up with the hollywood icons to talk about their new roles in this film. I've never heard of you. Must have been before my time. You've heard of me now. Reporter: It's been dubbed the sleeper hit of the summer. It's a positive thing. Reporter: The "red" crew is back. Bruce willis and john malkovich, revive a team of dangerous cia agents in the sequel, "red 2." And this time around, there's a few new faces on the "red" team. Anthony hopkins and catherine zeta-jones, who plays a classy assassin. Hello, frank. Yeah. Frank, how are things? Reporter: I sat down with dame helen mirren and sir anthony hopkins. Two of hollywood's most distinguished actors. They were in 2012's biopic "hitchcock." But playing "red" is altogether different. What drew you to this role? And how do you prepare to be an assassin? I've never done it before. That's the fun of being an actress. You get to do stuff you've never done before. Why did I just get a contract to kill you? Reporter: These seasoned actors prove there's no agent limit for a license to kill. You actually, as an assassin, you didn't want to kill anybody. As victoria, I kept saying, i don't want to kill anyone. Just disable the man. Make it clear I'm not killing people. Reporter: Hopkins plays a mad nuclear scientist, released after isolation. I invented it. Reporter: That reminded us of another character he played. The biggest surprise? I wouldn't cross the road to see some films. Especially if there's long pauses in them. They're so boring. Working with helen and bruce, they're so good at what they do. Reporter: For "good morning america," bianna golodryga, abc news, new york.
