She's alive and she's conscious and she's being transported to the hospital. Reporter: For five days the search for two missing costa mesa teenage hikers intensifying from land to air. But there were few clues. They don't have any water. I'm sure they don't have heavy jackets or anything. Reporter: Police say 19-year-old nicholas cendoya and his friend, kyndall jack, went for a hike on sunday in this southern california canyon. But got lost, ran out of water and their cell phone died. A desperate race against the clock until wednesday night. A huge break. A hiker discovering zen in this dense brush dehydrated and confused but alive.
